Clinical Aspects of Maternal Mortality (By the Example of the Khorezm Region)

Abstract

To date, the causes and risk factors that determine the level and rate of reduction of maternal losses have not been sufficiently developed and summarized. Most authors believe that maternal mortality is one of the main criteria for the quality and level of organization of the work of obstetric institutions. The purpose of the study: To study the real possibility of preventing maternal death by identifying prognostic adverse factors in the Khorezm region. Research methods: in the work, using a comparative clinical analysis of cases of maternal deaths, a study was made of the evolution of the causes of MS and its structure in the Khorezm region for 2010-2021. The analysis of the structure and clinical and laboratory assessment of conditions defined as "critical" in obstetric and gynecological practice from the standpoint of evaluating the effectiveness of regional technologies to prevent maternal death was carried out.
