Abstract

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormonal disorder that affects ovarian function, leading to irregular or absent ovulation. As a result, women with PCOS often experience difficulties in conceiving naturally. This condition is characterized by hormonal imbalances that disrupt the normal maturation and release of eggs, necessitating medical intervention for pregnancy. The impact of PCOS extends beyond reproductive health, influencing metabolic and endocrine functions. Early diagnosis and targeted treatments, including lifestyle modifications, hormonal therapies, and assisted reproductive techniques, can improve fertility outcomes. Understanding the underlying mechanisms of PCOS is crucial for developing effective management strategies to support reproductive health in affected.
