Abstract

The Prevention of gingivitis is a primary stage in the Prevention of periodont diseases. For this reason, gingivitis prevention is one of the important areas in dentistry. In preventing the development of gingivitis, the focus is on Oral hygiene. Regular removal of the pellicle that forms on the surface of the tooth prevents the inflammatory process. For this purpose, patients are taught the correct dental cleaning technique and individual hygiene products are recommended. In modern approaches, the Prevention of dental diseases is considered as a system aimed not only at treatment, but also at the Prevention of the disease.
